Vietnam Vet Bill Sladek's Return Visit to Raise Funds for Orphanages

Bill will be touring Vietnam by motorcycle this November, and has pledged to do whatever he can to raise funds for orphanages like Vinh Son.  His efforts are independent from the FVSO annual fund raising program, but he has our Best Wishes for a safe and fulfilling journey.  Bill is a retired Lutheran minister and a 1st Cav Vet of two tours in Vietnam.  Tax Deductible donations can be sent to Friends of VSO in Bill's name.  We will direct them to the appropriate designated orphanages.  To learn more about Bill's pilgrimage, CLICK here to read a story in the Windsor Beacon.

Dear Mr. Dave Chaix and Mr. Patrick Keegan,
We have just finished to repair the oven of our bakery ten days ago , thanks to your money you gave us when you were in Kontum for visiting and assisting all of our children in our orphanage. Now our children can make bread and every day they go to school after eating the bread they made every morning.

We thank you very much and we send to you some photos about this. Health and peace will be with you. ~ Sister Jane and Mr Tri.
