After a year of dedicated study, the children of Vinh Son have successfully completed their academic program, demonstrating remarkable growth, determination, and a commitment to learning. As they begin their three-month summer break, the Sisters will organize a variety of activities that encourage continued learning through practical work and daily responsibilities.

Throughout the summer program, the children will work together in the fields and gardens, helping to remove weeds, care for crops, and assist with agricultural tasks appropriate to their age and abilities. They will also have opportunities to participate in harvesting coffee and planting cassava, sugarcane, and rice, as well as assisting with simple construction and maintenance projects around the community under proper supervision.

These activities help foster diligence, responsibility, and an appreciation for the value of hard work. Through hands-on involvement, the children develop important life skills, strengthen their spirit of cooperation, and gain a deeper understanding of the effort required to provide for themselves and their families.
The summer program also offers valuable opportunities for the children to spend time in nature, build stronger friendships, and learn to support one another in their daily tasks and responsibilities. Through shared work and experiences, they continue to grow in character, confidence, and mutual respect.

At the conclusion of these summer activities, the Sisters will allow the children to return home for one week to visit their families. This special time gives them the opportunity to reunite with their parents and grandparents, share the joy of completing another successful school year, and enjoy precious moments with their loved ones.
